Australian Metallers Release Brand New Video

Melbourne Mentalists dropbunny Unveil “Pentagonal Plywood Prison”

Aussie nutters dropbunny recently filmed a video for their latest single “Pentagonal Plywood Prison” – the first single from their latest record ‘IO’.
The video stars renowned Australian actor Emily De Rango, and was filmed and directed by Sarah Dobbs and German filmmaker Ruth Schal.

The band had this to say on the video:

“Much of the film clip was shot in an abandoned velodrome, requiring them to get four cars full of equipment through three separate barbed wire fences. Thankfully, dropbunny’s understanding of black mathematics and occult interpretations of quantum physics meant that passing through such spatial barriers was not an issue (also, they brought wire cutters).

It documents the increasingly bizarre measures one needs to go to assert their independence in the face of the horror-show, “same old, same old”. The Pentagonal Plywood Prison is where your mind turns to cotton wool, and your feet march to a beat you can’t quite hear. It’s where you realise at the end of a lifetime that you’ve done nothing aside from maintain the illusion that you’re a functional human being. You are a dead thing, cold and mechanical – your life is not a life. This song is about smashing that shit.”
