'Think of me'

Award winning Jo Hamilton, is something quite unique. Her voice mellow and beautiful; flowing through your mind like a daydream. This single is quite easy to listen to, reminding me of Norah Jones with a splash of Dido. However, early in, her voice hits a pitch maybe a touch too far, although it is brought back to its relaxing state quite quickly before building up once more. It feels quite loud for the style of music, yet it is different and not really like anything else. I wouldn't be surprised if she had quite a niche market, due to how her music comes across. I couldn't imagine listening to one of her albums full stop on my iPod, yet when popping up on shuffle it would be a nice surprise to the guitar-crashing sound of Nine Inch Nails or techno La Roux.
