What are you looking forward to most in 2010?

We want as many people as possible to hear the record and to tour is as many places as possible!

 

So, if you could be so kind and tell us a bit about 'The Betrayed'...

I suppose its dark album for a number of reasons. One of them is from Ian’s lyrics he sings a lot of his own personal stuff and has been more open and honest on this record. I guess the other major thing is all the crap that we had throughout the process, when we started out it wasn’t so dark but after all the crap we went through it just took that tone.

 

Where are you looking forward to playing at most on tour? Any favourites?

We love everywhere, hitting all the festivals is amazing, but we’re happy playing small intimate gigs to huge stadiums – its all a buzz for us!

 

What would be on your rider for this upcoming tour?

Nothing that exciting really, redbull and towels, the usual. We always asked for puppies but that’s never happened, maybe this time round we’ll be lucky… maybe when we hit Japan!?

 

You're about to go on stage, what are you each most likely to forget?

I always concentrate not to trip over my guitar leads… I’ve done that a few times haha. The first 30 seconds are always like that; we have to concentrate!

 

Who's the most nervous before a gig?

I guess our new drummer would be because he’s the newest. Everyone else is used to it at this point, we don’t really get nervous, just excited! The adrenaline we get is ridiculous. We love it.
